AME LAME

2016

From the moment of their conception, some people possess a second soul, coming from either the earth, the sea or the sky. But although it is attached to the first cell of the body, it does not survive the pain of birth. These people grow up with an inner emptiness that they will try to fill throughout their lives, looking for their second soul at its origin: the earth, the sea or the sky. The character of this show is a woman who dreams of living among birds and thus, gets closer to the sky. Her search is interpreted through puppet manipulation and movement that creates the illusion that the performer and the body of the puppet are one.
